Productions must allow for sufficient/additional lead time for planning, liaison and review of COVID-19 measures and requirements and appreciate that not all locations will be currently available to accommodate filming.

We look forward to supporting the industry safely restart production and hearing from you.

Merton Film Office is responsible for managing all filming and photographic permissions in the borough.

Merton Film Office aims to help filmmakers and photographers make use of the borough for their productions.

The borough has some fantastic locations such as Wimbledon Park – home of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, Mitcham Common – providing a range of habitats here with woodland and scrub, ponds and grassland, Vestry Hall – a beautiful Victorian building with wonderful wood panelled rooms, Morden Assembly Hall – a classic hall with stage and Merton Arts Space – a flexible space in the heart of Wimbledon to name but a few with multiple parks and commercial centres available for filming.
